Tammy Gephart, DPM

Bio

Dr. Tammy Gephart is an established and highly skilled podiatric physician and surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field of podiatry. She is skilled in both surgical and nonsurgical intervention and is well regarded in the field and named a Top Doctor in 2020. She received the Award of Excellence for quality of care by St Mary’s Hospital of Trinity Healthcare System in Michigan and received numerous quality of care recognitions while practicing in the Atlanta Georgia area. Dr. Gephart has also spent many years working with Save a Limb, Save a Life group in Georgia to increase awareness about limb salvage. Dr. Gephart is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Dearborn campus. She obtained her medical degree from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio and is board certified and a Diplomate of The American Board of Multi Specialties in Podiatry. Her surgical residency training was completed at the VA in Northport NY. Dr. Gephart was a regular lecturer for the GPMA Wound Care Symposium Series while practicing in the Atlanta area. In 2018 she received the Trademark Women of Distinction Honor. During her time in Georgia, she was able to build a large diverse practice and worked with several long-term care facilities providing vital care. Dr. Gephart strives to provide the best care while involving her patients in their care through education providing comprehensive treatment and surgery for all ages. As a board-certified physician, her areas of surgical and nonsurgical interest are bunions and hammertoes, forefoot reconstructive surgery, especially rheumatoid and diabetic limb salvage patients. She also enjoys treatment of acute sports injuries, heel pain, pediatrics, and skin and nail conditions.
